God would strike them by using Babylon. Damascus was the capital of Aram. Kedar and Hazor were neighboring cities. Elam was east of Babylon. The Lord was bringing disaster to each of them. God holds the future of all nations in his hands. The Gentiles were so arrogant because they believed that their gods would protect them. However, God would reveal that their gods are useless and powerless. Only the authority and power will be revealed in the future. Lord, I believe that your power is the best. When I look around the world, wealth, and military power seem to be mightier than anything else. However, God is living and he will make the arrogant people fall. So I have to serve God and depend on God completely. God is ruling over all nations and people. They are creatures of God. God is the creator. I can feel that God is managing all things with his almighty power. I need not worry about anything and any country. I will serve you and pray to you wholeheartedly. Many countries are making weapons with their technologies. They are proud of their economy and military power. Lord, please make them foolish and powerless before you. I want to proclaim the message of God to many people. Then you will help me to make an influence toward the world. Who is like you? Who can challenge you? I depend on you in any situation. one word: The Lord is the judge of all nations.
